Hallyu People_”K-Influencer” from Thailand spreads K-wave beyond borders

29/11/2024

K-pop, K-movie, K-drama, K-everything. The reason why the K-wave is receiving love worldwide is because of the efforts of the musicians, actors, and producers behind the scenes.
But what would the Korean wave be without the support from the fans of K-stars and K-culture?
Some K-fans take it another step and play their own role in spreading the K-wave overseas. Today, we connect to one of them, a Thai K-influencer who runs the YouTube channel Diary of Jang Jihoo, Aiyaphat Wankawisant! Hello, Aiyaphat!

Q1) Aiyaphat, from your channel name we can already sense your affection for Korean culture. First off, introduce yourself to “The Kulture Wave” viewers, please.

Q2) Early this month you have been honored as one of the best “K-influencers” at the 2024 K-Wave Festival by Korea’s culture ministry. Congratulations on that! (We had Arirang TV cover the event and met you.) Could you share with us how you feel about this achievement?

Q3) Why do you think have you been chosen as a representative K-influencer?

Q4) As part of your attendance at the “2024 K-Wave Festival,” you along with the other invited participants went on a “Fam Tour.” Tell us more about that experience.

Q6) As mentioned before, you run a YouTube channel that’s all about Korean culture. Tell us more about it.

Q7) If you had the chance to invite a Hallyu star onto your channel who would that be?

Q8) Now let’s talk a bit about the popularity of Korean culture in Thailand. How big is the K-wave there?
