Israel carried out air and artillery strikes in Lebanon on Thursday, the second day of a ceasefire with Hezbollah announced earlier this week, targeting a rocket storage facility in the south of the country.
The Lebanese authorities criticized the Israeli attacks, that wounded two civilians, accusing the Israeli military of several violations of the terms of the ceasefire.
In response, the Israeli military said its troops opened fire at “several suspects” violating the truce as it says it had detected illicit activities at weapons depots.
It warned that any significant violation by Hezbollah would lead to war.
