Jungkook of K-pop sensation BTS won two awards at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards, one of three major music award ceremonies in the U.S.
Jungkook received on Thursday, local time, the “Top K-pop Album” and “Top Global K-pop Song” awards for his first solo album “GOLDEN” and the lead-off track “Standing Next to You.”
He was honored as a solo artist, and has now received Billboard Music Awards for two years in a row, winning “Top Global K-Pop Song” for the single “Seven” last year.
Jungkook has been on active military service since December last year.
