The province hosted a program earlier this week, inviting over 20 digital nomads from 13 countries, including the U.S., France, and Peru.
Participants visited various regions in Gangwon, such as Chuncheon and Donghae, where they worked remotely from shared offices and enjoyed local experience programs after work.
Since leading the domestic workation initiative in 2021, Gangwon-do has successfully attracted over 170,000 visitors.
