Hey guys,
I’m currently living in Busan and planning to move to Seoul. I’m looking for a moving service that can handle small moves, like a bed, table, chair, small couch, and some kitchen stuff. Does anyone know a good mover for this?1 Comment -
Hi everyone,
I hope you had a good time during Seollal.
I have a quick question.
I just registered a business in Korea and heard that I need to report HomeTax every month on revenue or income. Does anyone know where I can do that on HomeTax?4 Comments-
Hi @syriusmia25
You do not need to update your revenue or income every month. It is required to be done every quarter if you generated revenue or income.
Also, I recommend hiring an accountant to handle all tax-related matters. Once you hire employees, there will be more things to take care of, and it will be more time-consuming for you.

Hey,
Thanks for your advice. It’s good to know that I don’t need to update every month.
I’m also considering hiring an accountant to manage all my tax work, but I couldn’t find one who speaks English at reasonable price.
BTW, what do you mean by there will be more tax work when I hire employees?-
When you hire employees and pay their salaries, you will need to deduct pension, health insurance, employment insurance, and workers’ compensation insurance. The deduction rate varies depending on the employee’s salary and your business type/category.
We can introduce you to an accountant. Please send us an email at help@thxkorea.com

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know about cheap mobile carrier? I’m currently using SKT but heard there might be a cheaper SKT alternative. Any insights? 😄-
Yes, there are cheaper versions of mobile carriers available for all major carriers, called ‘Al-ddul-phone’ (μλ°ν°).
The monthly bill is around 25,000 to 35,000 won.
And you can apply online-
Oh, awesome! Thanks a bunch!
Quick question, do you know if I can transfer and keep my number? cuz that would be super convenient!

Hey folks! 😄
Iβm moving to Korea this summer to study and looking for shared housing info in Seoul. Any tips? Also, do you think 1000 pounds/month is enough for rent and food?
Thanks🙏3 Comments-
1000 pounds is about 1.7 million KRW, should be enough for your rent and food.
Rent is around 1 million KRW, and the rest can be spent on food-
Thanks! Is the rent for shared housing? Are utilities included? 😄
-
The average rent cost for a studio in Villa is around 1 million KRW with a month-to-month contract.
If you make a deposit, which you can get back at the end of the contract, the rent will be slightly cheaper.Utilities are separate, and in most residences, there is a monthly maintenance fee of around 100,000 KRW. Please…Read More

Does anyone know the name of the outlet near Seoul? Is it worth visiting?
It’s the Paju Premium Outlet. I’ve been there a couple of times and bought shoes and clothes.
It’s not super cheap, but a little cheaper than regular retail stores -
Enjoyed the outlet visit, tons of shops! But kinda crowded ’cause it was the weekend. Try shopping on weekdays for a chill vibe π

Hi @alexander-smi7h
I suggest checking ‘Soomgo’ or ‘Zimssa’ for movers. In my experience, these platforms have many options with reasonable prices.
However, I recommend asking friends who speak Korean to help you avoid any extra charges.
