South Korea will offer COVID-19 vaccinations starting next month.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency announced on Friday that the vaccinations will be first delivered to individuals aged 75 and above, starting on October 11.
Vaccinations will be free for high-risk groups, including those aged 65 and above, with the cost for everyone else to be determined in early October.
The KDCA added that despite the downward trend in Covid cases for three straight weeks starting the week of August 18, individuals are advised to follow virus guidelines during the Chuseok holiday.
