Moving over to Switzerland where a gunman on Monday killed two people and injured one in the southern town of Sion. The alleged suspect has been found and arrested following an eight-hour manhunt.
The suspect, a 36-year-old man, fired several shots in the Swiss Alpine town of Sion, killing his first victim, 34-year-old female in a car park then the second, a 41-year-old man soon after. The shooter also shot and injured a 49-year-old female. Police proceeded with road blocks and an active manhunt, which led to the suspect’s arrest on Monday afternoon. Around 2.3 million of Switzerland’s 9 million population own a gun, but gun-related homicides are rare.
